Why Submit a Sitemap to Google?
An XML sitemap tells Google about all the pages on your site, their relative importance (priority), and how often they change. While Google can discover pages on its own, a sitemap speeds up indexation — especially for new sites, large sites, or pages with few internal links.
After generating your sitemap, upload it to the root of your website and submit it via Google Search Console under Sitemaps. Also reference it in your robots.txt file with a Sitemap: directive.
